"Riga" signs Bosnian midfielder Secerovic
Riga Football Club has signed a contract with 29-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder Adnan Secerovic. Welcome to the team, Adnan!
Adnan Secerovic was born on December 1, 1991. The 180 cm footballer can play in the positions of defensive, central and attacking midfielder. In 2008, Adnan moved from Bosnia to the Dutch club "Roda JC", where he made his debut in the Dutch Premier League in 2010 at the age of 18.
In the Netherlands, Secerovic played until 2014. On loan, the Bosnian midfielder represented the second league teams "Fortuna Sittard" and "MVV". In "Eerste Divisie" Adnan played 44 games, scored one goal and made two assists.
In season 2014/2015, Secerovic played for the Bosnian club Sloboda Tuzla and in the Austrian 2nd League team Austria Lustenau. In 2015, Secerovic came back to Bosnia and played for highest league teams Radnik Bijeljina, Željezničar, Mladost Doboj-Kakanj and Tuzla City. In all four teams Secerovic in total played 96 games, scored one goal and made two assists.
For the last two years, Secerovic has played for the Greek Super League club "Larissa", where he was a starting lineup footballer. Adnan played 49 games for Larissa. In 2018, as part of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, Secerovic played 15 minutes in a friendly game against Mexico.
