First loss this season

Tonight in the 18th round of the Latvian Highest league, we experienced our first loss this season. 0:1 away against "Valmiera"! Now there will be national team break, but the next game is on June 25 in Jelgava.

In the first game this season, we beat "Valmiera" with the result 3:0. Before this match, we were on the first place of the tournament table, but "Valmiera" took the third position.

In the first half of the game, "Valmiera" was better. Already in the first 25 minutes, the opponents had a couple of good chances, and once the ball hit the crossbar. Already in the first half, the coach replaced Mora Talla. At the end of the half, we improved our performance, but did not score. After the first half, the score was tied 0:0.

At the beginning of the second half, the first goal in this game with a fantastic shot was scored by the opponent's midfielder Viktors Diagne - 0:1. In the next 20 minutes, the opponents made more dangerous attacks. Maksims Toniševs hit the post from a fantastic position once. In the final part of the game, we created some chances, but the opponents goalkeeper played convincingly. In the final result, the first loss this season - 0:1.

Now there will be national team break, but the next game will be against Jelgava on June 25.
