Second victory against "Metta" this season

Tonight in the 17th round game of the Latvian Highest league we defeated "Metta" with a scoreline of 2:0. Goals were scored by Douglas Aurelio and Antonijs Černomordijs. On June 9 game in Valmiera.

In the first game, we won this opponent with the result 4:0. The goals were scored by Hrvoje Babec, Ousseynou Niang, Marko Regža and Reginaldo Ramires. We were in the first place before the game, but "Metta" took the fifth position.

At the beginning of the game, we did not have a big advantage, and we scored the first goal in the 20th minute. Douglas Aurelio played well individually, the opponents made a foul in their penalty area, and Aurelio himself scored a penalty kick (1:0). 14 minutes later we scored the second goal. Raivis Jurkovskis made a header, and Antonijs Černomordijs scored from very close distance (2:0). After the first half we were leading 2:0.

The second half was not the most interesting. We are in full control of what happens on the field. Hrvoje Babec hit the crossbar in the middle of the half. In general, there were not many scoring opportunities. The opponents looked for different ways, but we played disciplined defense. The final result was a 2:0 victory.
