Dašķevičs first goal in highest league, victory in Salaspils

Today in the 7th round game of the Latvian Highest league in an away match we defeated "Super Nova" with the scoreline of 4:0. Eduards Dašķevičs scored his first goal in the Latvian championship. Kemehlo Nguena, Mikael Soisalo and Douglas Aurelio also scored one goal each. On Tuesday game against "Metta".

In the previous championship match, we lost two points and drew 1:1 with "Daugavpils". "Super Nova" surprised and defeated last season's champion Valmiera 1:0.

We dominated the whole game and quickly scored the first goal. In the 8th minute, Kemehlo Nguena scored his third goal this season after a pass from Marco Regža - 1:0. 13 minutes later, Mikael Soisalo played very well individually - at the end of the attack, the midfielder powerfully shot the ball in the far corner - 2:0. We had a few more good chances, but no more goals were scored in the first half.

In the second half, we continued to attack, and in the 62nd minute, the opponents made a foul in their own penalty area. After Douglas Aurelio's 11-meter penalty kick, "Super Nova" was saved by the goalkeeper, but our player was the first on the ball and shot it into the net - 3:0. Ousseynou Niang had a lot of opportunities in the second half, but the player could not score. Eduards Dašķevičs was active after entering the pitch, and at the end of the game the midfielder deservedly scored a goal. It is the first goal for Eduards in the highest league of Latvia. Victory with 4:0.
