Draw 1:1

Today in the 6th round match of the Latvian Highest league, we drew 1:1 with "Daugavpils". Marko Regža scored the only goal for our team. On April 20, the game against "Super Nova".

Before this game, we were in first place with 13 points in five games. "Daugavpils" had earned one victory, four points and was in eighth place at the beginning of the season.

In the first half of the game, we lacked sharpness in attack. There were a couple of chances to score, but there were no good shots. In the 11th minute, Mor Talla made a foul in our penalty area, and Valerijs Lizunovs scored from the penalty spot (0:1). After the first half, we were trailing with the result 0:1.

The head coach was not satisfied with the team's performance in the first half and made four substitutions immediately after the break. "Daugavpils" played disciplined in defense, but we scored a goal in the 73rd minute. Marko Regža scored a goal from close range after Ousseynou Niang's pass - 1:1. In the final part of the game, we put pressure on the opponent's goal, but were unable to score. Draw 1:1.

The next game is on April 20 in Salaspils. The kick-off against "Super Nova" at 17:00.
