
Konevs will continue to work with "Riga-2"
Experienced Mihail Konev will continue to be the head coach of "Riga-2" in the 2023 season. 29 players continues to train with the team in Latvia and is preparing for the beginning of the season in the "Optibet Nakotnes līga".
Ivans Lukjanovs, goalkeeping coach Deniss Romanovs and fitness coach Nikola Rodic will also work with the team together with the head coach Mihail Konev.
Several players who played form "Riga" in the Latvian top league last season will also start the season in the reserve team. They will be Yuri Vakulko, Thanos Pecos, Glodie Ngonda and Joselfo Barnes.
"Riga-2" has completed a high-quality preparatory phase. From the 15th to the 27th in February, the team trained in Turkey, where they also played several test matches. Currently, the team continues training in Latvia and is actively preparing for the start of the season.
