The Latvian champion in futsal changes its name and becomes Riga Futsal Club

We have signed a cooperation agreement with the two-time Latvian champion in futsal "Petrow". From now on, the team will compete in all tournaments as "Riga Futsal Club". Welcome to the family!

Futsal club "Petrow" was founded in 2012. The club is the Latvian champions of the last season. "Petrow" also became the champion in season 2019/2020. In the season 2020/2021, took the second place.

This season, "Petrow/Beitar" is on the first place in the regular tournament with 46 points in 16 games. The team won 15 games and drew once.

The "Play-off" tournament will start on March 11. "Riga Futsal Club" will play against "Raba" in the quarterfinals. The first game in Salaspils on March 11 at 16:00. The second game will be played in Riga on March 16.

"Petrow" has competed twice in the prestigious UEFA Futsal Champions League. In the previous season, the club reached the main round, where it took third place. Only one club in the history Latvian futsal has managed to achieve such a result.

Within the framework of the signed cooperation agreement, we will provide the kids of our academy with the opportunity to develop their football skills also in futsal training.
