Loss and victory against Kolos

Today, at the training camp in Turkey, we played against the Ukrainian club "Kolos" twice. In the first game we lost 0:2, but in the second we won 2:0. Goals were scored by Douglas Aurelio and Mor Talla. On February 25, we will play against the Estonian club "Levadia".

Until today, we had played nine games in Turkey. During this time, we had five wins, two draws and two losses.

Today in the first game against "Kolos" we conceded two goals in the first half of the game. In the 13th minute, "Kolos" created a good combination and in the end made a strong shot in the far corner. A few minutes before the end of the half, Eduards Daškėvičs, who was one of the best players in our team in the first half, was sent off. "Kolos" scored the second goal a minute later. There were no more goals scored in the second half, and "Kolos" won 2:0.

In the evening game, the game was already different. We dominated in the first half, created a lot of scoring opportunities, but scored only one goal. In the 7th minute, Raivis Jurkovskis crossed the ball in the penalty area, after the first shot by Douglas Aurelio, the goalkeeper saved the opponents, but Aurelio was the first to the ball and scored (1:0). During the first half, Aurelio had another fantastic chance, but the goalkeeper of "Kolos" saved after both shots. We shot from different positions, we were close to score at least one more goal, but it didn't happen.

In the second half, we continued to play beautiful football. In the 60th minute, after a wonderful team combination, Mor Talla shot the ball into the far corner of the goal (2:0). It was also the last goal of the game. "Kolos" also had chances, but Nils Puriņš played a good game in our goal. In the final part of the game, the pace was no longer the fastest. In the final result, our victory was 2:0.
