A goal in each half and victory again

Tonight, at the training camp in Turkey, we got the fourth victory in a row. We beat Bosnia and Herzegovina club "Sarajevo" with the result 2:1. The goals were scored by Ramires and Meleye Diagne. On February 17, we will play against Ukrainian "Zorya" twice.

Until today, we had played three matches in Turkey and won all three - 1:0 against Montenegrin "Dečic", 2:0 against Georgian "Torpedo Kutaisi" and 4:1 against the Georgian champion "Torpedo Tbilisi".

Both teams played good, physical football at the start of the game. We often used diagonal passes, made crosses in the penalty area, but there were no very good moments. During the half, the opponents brought down Ousseynou Niang twice in their penalty area. And in both episodes, the referee did not award a penalty kick.

In the continuation of the first half, we were a much better team on the pitch. Several times we created good combinations in attack and every minute we were closer to score a goal. In the 41st minute, Glody Ngonda made a strong shot, but the opponents were saved by the goalkeeper. A couple of minutes later, a "Sarajevo" player made a handball in the penalty area, and Ramires scored a penalty kick. After the first half we were in the lead with 1:0.

As in the previous games, Stipić changed the entire lineup after the break. "Sarajevo" created several good moments, but Rihards Matrevics showed a fantastic performance in our goal and saved the team several times. In the 68th minute, after a pass from Joselpho Barnes, Meleye Diagne scored a goal. In the 77th minute, Kirill Ilyin made a foul. It was clear that it happened outside the penalty area, but the referee still awarded a penalty kick. The opponents scored, but for the rest of the game we played with discipline and won 2:1.

On February 17, we will play two games against the Ukrainian club "Zorya".
