Victory in the first game in Turkey

Tonight, in the first test match at the training camp in Turkey, we defeated the Montenegrin club "Dečic" with a scoreline of 1:0. Douglas Aurelio scored the only goal for our team.

The Montenegrin top league is currently on break. In the first half of the season, "Decic" won seven times, drew seven times and lost five times. With 28 points, the team ranks third.

Today we played each half with a different lineup. In the first half of the game, we controlled the ball more, but the opponents still came close to our goal a few times. We scored the only goal in this game at the end of the half. Douglas Aurelio played well individually, and at the end of the attack he powerfully shot the ball into the bottom corner of the goal (1:0).

In the second half, the game was quite active from both teams. We had more moments, but we could not realize them. In the last minutes of the game, Armands Pētersons hit the crossbar after a corner kick. In the end, our team won with the result 1:0.

The next match is already on February 6 against the Georgian club "Torpedo Kutaisi". The game starts at 15:00 Latvian time.
