First loss this year

Today in the test match we lost 2:3 to one of the strongest Bulgarian teams "Sofia Levski". The goals were scored by Georgi Minchev and Talla. On January 25, we will play against "Levski" again.

Until today's match in Dubai, we had won (2:1) against the UAE Highest league team "Al Nasr" and had drawn three times (1:1 against "Dubai United", 2:2 against the U23 national team of Uzbekistan, 4:4 against the Bulgarian club "Botev").

Today we played against one of the strongest teams in Bulgaria "Sofia Levski". 17 players of our team went to the game, the rest trained in the gym. Although it was initially planned that the Bulgarians would play with their second team, the reality was different. In the middle of the first half, each of the teams scored from the penalty kick. Georgi Minchev scored for our team. Goalkeeper Rihards Matrevics made few good saves, and after the first half the score was tied 1:1.

During the second half, coach Stipić made all six substitutions. In the 50th minute, after a cross from the right side, the opponents scored the second goal (2:1). In the middle of the half, the opponents made a mistake, and Talla masterfully scored a goal (2:2). In the 76th minute, we made a bad pass in the attack, the opponents organized a counterattack and scored from close range (3:2). We could not score the third goal and lost 2:3.

On January 25, we will play again against this Bulgarian team.
