Two goals in the second half and a win against Al Nasr

Today we played the first test match in 2023 in Dubai. With the scoreline of 2:1, we won the club "Al Nasr" of the highest league of the UAE. The goals were scored by Mikael Soisalo and Marko Regža.

We will train in Dubai from January 12 to 28. Five test matches are planned for the team as part of the training camp.

Together against "Al Nasr", the head coach Tomislav Stipić gave a chance to 25 players. We played with a different lineup in each of the halves. In the first half of the game, we demonstrated a fairly high-quality performance. We created several interesting attacks, had a couple of good chances, but did not score. In the 35th minute, after our mistake, the opponents scored a goal and ended the first half with a 1:0 lead.

We scored two goals in the second half. In the 65th minute, Mikael Soisalo scored from close range - 1:1. We continued to create attacks, and at the end of the game, after a strong pass by Mikael Soisalo, Marko Regža scored - 2:1. Opponents also had some opportunities, but goalkeeper Rihards Matrevics played convincingly.

Next matches on January 18 against Uzbekistan U23 national team and UAE team "Dubai United".
