The legend stays in the team

The legend stays in the team! We are happy to announce that we have extended the contract with Armands Pētersons! The 31-year-old defender will play his eighth season in our team!

Armands Pētersons signed his first contract with "Riga Football Club" before the 2016 season. It was our first season in the highest league of Latvia.

In total, Armands has played 168 games in our team, scored seven goals and made 12 assists. As part of "Riga", Pētersons became the Latvian champion three times and won the Latvian Cup once.

During his career, Armands has also played in other Latvian top league clubs - "Olimps", "Skonto", "Daugava Daugavpils", "Jelgava" and "Metta". Petersons has played two games for the Latvian national team.
