Thank You, Kura!

After the contract expiration, we will not continue cooperation with one of the club's legends, Antons Kurakins! 32-year-old Kurakins spent six seasons in "Riga" and played 118 games! Thank you, Kura!

Antons Kurakins signed a contract with our club before the 2017 season. In total, Antons played 118 games in the shirt of "Riga Football Club", scored three goals and made 12 assists.

Together with our team, Antons became the Latvian champion three times (2018, 2019, 2020) and won the Latvian Cup once (2018). During his career, Kurakins represented "Ventspils" for five seasons, with which he became the Latvian champion three times (2011, 2013, 2014) and won the Latvian Cup once (2012/2013). Antons also played for Scottish clubs "Brechin City", "Stranraer" and "Hamilton Academical".

Antons has played eight games for the Latvian national team. Kura, thank you for your work in our team and good luck in the future!
