Loss in Cyprus against "Auda"

Today in Cyprus we played a friendly match against another Latvian championship team FK "Auda" and lost with the result 0:2. We will hold the training camp in Cyprus until November 25.

We went to Cyprus the very next day after the conclusion of the Latvian championship. In total, the training camp in Cyprus will last 12 days, during which four friendly matches are also planned.

We had two very good chances in the first half of the game. In the 20th minute, after a pass from Kwadwo Asamoah, Douglas Aurelio shot from a very good position, but the opponents were saved by goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa. In the middle of the half, Yuri Kendysh found Lucas Rangel with a filigree. The Brazilian striker shot from close range, and the opponent was again saved by the goalkeeper. At the end of the half we made mistake in our own half and Abiodun Ogunniji in our penalty area did everything perfectly. 0:1 after the first half.

In the second half, as in the first field, there were a lot of emotions and quite sharp fouls. Our head coach Sandro Perkovič also gave the academy players a chance. We had some good chances to score as the half progressed but could not take them. Stanislav Krapukhin scored a goal in the final part of the game, and in the final result we lost with 0:2.

The training camp in Cyprus will be held until November 25. Three friendly matches are still scheduled. We will inform you about  them in the coming days.
