Third victory against "Auda"

Tonight at the Skonto Stadium in the game of the 25th round of the Latvian Highest league we defeated "Auda" for the third time this season - 2:0. Hrvoje Babec and Marcelo Torres scored the goals. The next game is on August 28 against Tukums.

This season, we played two games against "Auda" and in both matches we earned difficult victories with the result 1:0.

We had several good scoring chances in the first half of the game. In some episodes we couldn't make a shot on goal, in some episodes the goalkeeper Niks Alekandrovs played well. "Auda" waited for its opportunities in counterattacks, several times the opponent's foreign players demonstrated excellent speed characteristics, but Roberts Ozols played convincingly in the goal. After the first half it was tie 0:0.

In the second half, we played actively in attack and scored a goal in the 61st minute. Joselpho Barnes played well individually, the midfielder passed to Hrvoje Babec in the final part of the attack, and the Croatian shot the ball into the goal net - 1:0. Ten minutes later, Marcelo Torres scored from the penalty area - 2:0. In the remaining part of the game, both teams had chances, but no more goals were scored. In the final result, our victory was 2:0.
