Two goals in the second half and victory against "Spartaks"

Tonight in 22nd round game of the Latvian Highest league we scored two goals in the second half and defeated "Spartaks" with the scoreline of 2:1. Goals were scored by Marcelo Torres and Gabriel Ramos.

After the game in Slovakia, head coach Sandro Perkovic replaced all 11 players who started the game against "Ružomberok". In the first half of the game, we controlled the ball a lot, but at the end we lacked good shots. In the 29th minute, we made a foul in our penalty area, and Olegs Laizāns scored a penalty kick. After the first half of the game, the opponents were leading 1:0.

Marcelo Torres, Gabriel Ramos, Douglas Aurelio and Yuri Vakulko came in at the start of the second half and it changed the game significantly. In the 66th minute, Torres played individually great - the Argentinian skillfully shot the ball into the far corner of the goal (1:1). We continued to attack actively and deservedly scored the second goal as well. Gabriel Ramos scored the eighth goal of the season. The final result was a 2:1 victory.

The next match is on Thursday in the qualification of the UEFA Europa Conference League against the Slovak vice-champion "Ružomberok".
