1:0 against "Super Nova"

Tonight at the Skonto Stadium, we defeated "Super Nova" with the scoreline of 1:0 in the 21st round of the Latvian Highest league! Lukas Rangel scored the only goal in the debut game. We will go to Slovakia on Wednesday!

In this game, three footballers - Gustavo Dulanto, Marcelo Torres and Lucas Rangel - made their debut in our team. Dulanto and Torres played in the first half and Lucas in the second.

In the first half of the game, we controlled the ball a lot, but the chances of scoring goals were quite few. The best moment in the first half was for Marcelo Torres. After Anton Kurakin's cross, the Argentinian made a header from close range, but the opponents were saved by goalkeeper Kristaps Zommers. After the first half, it was tied 0:0.

In the second half, head coach Sandro Perkovic made five substitutions. We attacked actively, created several goal-scoring opportunities, and scored the only goal in the 70th minute. Brazilian striker Lucas Rangel scored in his debut game with a header after a set piece. An important victory with a score of 1:0.

The next game is on July 21. In the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League we will play an away match against Slovakian vice-champion "Ružomberok".
