In the Latvian Cup 1/8 final game against "Metta"!

The Latvian Highest league teams starts in the cup competition directly from the 1/8 final. The place among the strongest eight teams has already been secured by seven teams of the strongest Latvian championship - "Valmiera", "Ventspils", "Spartaks", "Tukums", "Jelgava", "Liepāja" and RFS.

We have played two games against "Metta" in the Latvian championship this season, scoring five goals and defending our goals intact, winning 2:0 and 3:0.

Last season, in the Latvian Cup "Riga" lost in the semi-finals lost to RFS in Riga derby. Later RFS became the cup winners. In 2018, the Latvian Cup became the first trophy in the history of the "Riga" club.

"Riga" after the last game in the Latvian Championship actively continued to prepare for the final cut before the national team break.
