1:0 in Tukums

Tonight in an away game of the 17th round of the Latvian Highest league we won the "Tukums 2000 / Telms" team with scoreline of 1:0! The only goal for our team was scored by Joselpho Barnes! On Wednesday game against "Auda".

We had played against "Tukums" once this season - on April 23 in Mežaparks we beat our opponents with the result 1:0. Sandro Perkovic made his debut as the head coach at the Latvian championship today.

In the first half of the game, we controlled the ball a lot, making one attack after another. There was a problem with taking our goal scoring chances. We scored the first goal only in the 31st minute. Finnish national team player Mikael Soisalo played great on the right side. After a great cross from Finnish player Joselpho Barnes scored from close distance. After the first part of the game we was in the lead with 1:0.

In the beginning of the second half, Rivars Rugins had to score. Ritvars hit the crossbar after Antons Kurakin's cross from the left side. We had a number of good chances to score also in the next minutes of the game. We couldn't score more than one in this game. Tukums made it nervous at the end of the game, but "Riga" goalkeeper Nils Puriņš played convincingly in all episodes. In the end, the victory with scoreline of 1:0.

The next game on June 22 at Skonto Stadium against "Auda".
