Korotkovs has returned to the team

The 22-year-old Latvian centre-back Ilja Korotkovs has returned to our club! Defender played the first part of the season on loan for another Latvian championship team "Auda"!

Ilja Korotkovs was born on May 24, 2000 in Riga, the capital of Latvia. Ilja plays in the positions of centre-back and defensive midfielder. Korotkovs is a  "Metta" football school grown player.

Ilja started his career as a professional footballer in this club. In the previous three seasons, Korotkovs has played 37 games for the "Metta", scored four goals and made one assist. In this season Korotkovs played 14 games for "Auda".

Korotkovs has represented the Latvian national teams U18, U19 and U21. Korotkovs has one goal in the U21 national team. Welcome, Ilja!
