The first game of the season on a natural grass

We had one of the best games against "Metta" this season. On April 14 in Mežaparks we won with the scoreline of 4:0. Goals were scored by Oleksandr Filippov, Yuri Kendysh, Gabriel Ramos and Georgi Minchev.

We played against "Metta" four times last season and almost all four games were very difficult. We got only eight of the maximum 12 points - two wins (3:0, 1:0) and two draws (1:1, 1:1).

"Riga" has won the last three games in a row - 4:1 against "Super Nova", 4:0 against "Spartaks" and 2:0 against "Daugavpils". "Metta" has lost the last three games - 1:3 against RFS, 0:3 against "Valmiera" and 0:1 against "Liepāja".

Due to injuries, few of our players will not be able to play tonight. This week the team trained in the Mežaparks on the natural grass. In the tournament table, we are in fourth place with 28 points. The leaders with 35 points are "Valmiera" and RFS. "Metta" has earned 14 points and is ranked seventh.
