Goal in every half against "Daugavpils"

Tonight in Mežaparks Sports Village we beat "Daugavpils" with the scoreline of 2:0 in the 14th round of the Latvian Highest league. Goals were scored by Joselpho Barnes and Miloš Vranjanin. On Monday an away match against "Metta".

In the first game against "Daugavpils", we did not score any goals and played a draw 0:0. Eight of our players were unable to play today due to injury and illness.

At the very beginning of the game, we played a lot with the ball. We had to wait almost half an hour until the first goal. In the 28th minute, Raivis Jurkovskis was great on the right wing, defender run into the penalty box, made a great pass and Joselpho Barnes scored from close distance (1:0). For the rest of the half, we made a few more good moments, but we didn't score a second goal in the first half. 1:0 after the first part of the game.

At the beginning of the second half, Daugavpils demonstrated good performance. In the 52nd minute, Glody Ngonda made a foul in the penalty box, referee made a whistle from a penalty, but we was saved by our great goalkeeper Nils Puriņš. In the 78th minute, we scored a second goal. After the set piece, the defender Miloš Vranjanin made a good header - 2:0. The end of the game was not nervous and we won 2:0.

The next game on Monday will be against "Metta". The kick-off at the Daugava Stadium at 18:30.
