A lot of goal scoring moments, but loss at the end

Tonight we created a lot of goal scoring moments in the 11th round of the Latvian Highest league, but with a scoreline of 0:1 we lost to "Liepāja". The next game is on May 10 in Salaspils.

We played against "Liepāja" for the first time this season in March. We could not use our goal scoring opportunities and lost with the result 0:1. Nemanja Belakovič scored the only goal.

In the first half of the game, we controlled a ball a lot. We attacked more, created more goal scoring chances, but we couldn't use it. The team was in a good mood for the game, we played aggressively, made a lot of attacks, but it was too little to score. "Liepāja" scored the only goal in the first half of the game. In the 12th minute, after a set piece, Belakovič made a great header (0:1). At the end of the half, Babah Musah hit the the crossbar. After the first half, "Liepāja" was in the lead with 1:0.

In the second half, we created a number of good scoring opportunities. In the 82nd minute, after a penalty made by Oleksandr Filippov, the Liepāja team was saved by goalkeeper Krišjānis Zviedris. "Riga" also actively attacked in the last minutes of the game, "Liepāja" played very disciplined and kept its advantage. "Liepāja" victory in the end with the scoreline of 1:0.
