Three conceded goals in first half and 0:3 in Valmiera

Today we lost to Valmiera in the 10th round of the Latvian Highest league with the scoreline of 0:3. The next game on May 6 against "Liepāja".

We played against "Valmiera" in the first game of the season. We conceded early goal, but in the continuation of the game we scored two goals and won with 2:1. Goals were scored by Oleksandr Filippov and Glody Ngonda.

"Valmiera" started the game very well today. In the 2nd minute Raimonds Krollis scored from close distance after the cross from left side. Valmiera dominated in the first half. In the tenth minute after the set piece, Daniels Balodis made a great header (2:0). In the 35th minute, Krollis scored one more goal from the close distance. After the first half, "Valmiera" was in the lead with 3:0.

In the second half, we created several goal scoring opportunities, but we were unable to take them. "Valmiera" was no longer very active, we controlled the ball more, but there were only few good quality and sharp episodes in the attack. In the end, the loss with the scoreline of 0:3.
