Nata scores in his birthday

Today at "Mežaparks Sports Village" we won "Auda" with the scoreline of 1:0 in the 7th round game of the Latvian Highest league. The only goal for our team on his birthday was scored by Wesley Nata. On Saturday game against Tukums.

"Auda" is the champion of the Latvian First League in 2021. The previous season did not include a full championship in the First League due to the spread of Covid-19. In 13 games, "Auda" earned nine wins and four draws. That was enough to get a ticket to the highest league.

At the beginning of the game, we actively played forward. Already in the first half we made ten corner kicks. After set pieces we had a number of good opportunities, but we were unable to score. "Auda" had a very good chance in the 18th minute. Tomislav Štrkal played individually great, but hit the goal post. There were no other very good opportunities for the teams in the first half. After 45 minutes draw 0:0.

Opponents were better at the start of the second half. "Auda" controlled the ball a lot, but did not create anything dangerous. We had some advantage in the last 30 minutes. We only scored in the 80th minute. Wesley Nata made a great shot in the cornet from the penalty box - 1:0. The Brazilian midfielder is celebrating his birthday today. "Auda" made a good offensive at the end of the game. Brice Tutu had a great chance, but after his shot ball went just little bit wide. Difficult and important victory with 1:0.
