In Mežaparks an away match against "Auda"

"Auda" is the champion of the Latvian First League in 2021. The previous season did not include a full championship in the First League due to the spread of Covid-19. In 13 games, "Auda" earned nine wins and four draws. That was enough to get a ticket to the highest league.

"Auda" worked very well in the off-season. The team signed contracts with many newcomers and went to a training camp in Turkey. At the beginning of the season, "Auda" has scored nine out of a maximum of 18 points in six games.

At the beginning of the season, "Riga" has won in four of the six games - 2:1 against "Valmiera", 2:0 against "Super Nova", 3:0 against "Spartaks" and 4:0 against "Metta". 0:0 in Daugavpils and in the second round the loss in an away match against "Liepāja" (0:1).

"Liepāja" currently takes the first place in the tournament table with 16 points. RFS has accumulated 14 points, we have earned 13 points, but "Valmiera" is in the fourth place with 11 points.
