Two goals in each of the halfs

Tonight we won "Metta" in the 6th round game of the Latvian Highest league with the scoreline of 4:0. Goals were scored by Oleksandr Filippov, Yurii Kendysh, Gabriel Ramos and Georgi Minchev! On Monday game against "Auda".

There were tough games against "Metta" last season. We earned eight out of a maximum of 12 points against this team. We won twice (1:0, 3:0) and played twice against this team in a draw (1:1, 1:1).

We dominated from the first minutes of the game. First goal was scored in the 21st minute, when our forward Oleksandr Filippov made a great shot into the top corner. Six minutes later, Yurii Kendysh scored the second goal from a close distance - 2:0. "Riga" controlled the ball, made a lot of passing and the opponents had no good chance to score. After the first half we were in the lead with 2:0.

Nothing changed significantly in the second half. We controlled the game and it was only a matter of time before we scored the third goal. In the 69th minute Kendysh had a great episode in the middle of the pitch, midfielder made a good pass to Gabriel Ramos and Brazilian played perfect in the penalty area (3:0). In the second half, the coach made all five substitutions. Georgi Minchev scored the first goal of our club in the 86th minute. In the end, the victory with 4:0.
