With four goals it was not enough to win

We are back in Latvia after a five-day training camp in Paphos, Cyprus. We had five training sessions and a friendly against the Cyprus Highest league club "Paphos".

We had four workouts in the artificial grass of ​​the "Paphos" team sports base in Cyprus and we had one workout in the gym. Everything happened according to the planned schedule, and now the team has returned to Riga in a good mood.

We didn't play the best defense against "Paphos". Overall, there was a close game in the first half. "Paphos" scored two goals at the end of the first half. In the 33rd minute Josef Kvida made a great header after the corner kick, bet 11 minutes later Onni Valakari scored from close distance after great pass from left wing. "Paphos" after the first half was in the lead with the scoreline of 2:0.

In the second half, the coaches of both teams made many substitutions. From the 66th to 77th minute, we scored three goals and were already in the lead. Goals were scored by Yurii Vakulko, Joselpho Barnes and Thanos Petsos - 3: 2. We played very poorly in the last 15 minutes. "Paphos" answered with three goals in seven minutes (3:5). At the very end, Barnes scored another goal and "Paphos" won 5:4.

The next game in the Latvian championship for our team is scheduled for April 1 "Mežaparks Sports Village" against "Super Nova".
