"Riga" against "Kairat" in the second friendly game in Turkey

In the first game in Turkey we met with one of the strongest clubs in Ukraine "Shakhtar Donetsk". The game was played in 2x30 minute format. In the end draw - 0:0.

Before that, we trained in the United Arab Emirates from January 9 to February 17. We played eight friendly matches in Dubai. We won four times, played twice in a draw and lost twice.

"Kairat" is a team of the highest league of Kazakhstan. The club was founded in 1954. "Kairat" has become the champion of Kazakhstan three times. The last time this happened was in 2020. "Kairat" has won the Kazakh Cup trophy ten times and the Super Cup three times.

In 2021, "Kairat" played in the UEFA Europa Conference League group tournament. In Group B, "Kairat" played against "Basel", "Qarabag" and "Omonia". "Kairat" suffered four losses and played twice in a draw against "Omonia".
