Georgi Minchev was born on April 20, 1995 in Ruse, Bulgaria. Minchev plays in the position of centre-forward. Georgi is a "Litex Lovech" grown player.

In this club Minchev also began his career as a professional footballer. In 2016, Minchev signed an agreement with the famous Bulgarian club "CSKA Sofia". For the next two years, Georgi on loan played for the second league club "Tsarsko Selo". In 2019, Minchev signed a full contract with this team.

In 2019, Minchev became the champion of the second league in Bulgaria and scored 29 goals in 28 games In season 2019/2020, Minchev scored three goals in 25 games in highest league.
