Tomorrow game against Ukraine's Premier League leader "Shakhtar"

Tomorrow we will have our first friendly game at a training camp in Turkey. Our opponents will be the leader of the Ukrainian Premier League "Shakhtar Donetsk". The kick-off at 17:00 Turkish time (16:00 Latvia). Live on our Youtube channel.

From January 9th to February 17th we trained in the United Arab Emirates. We played eight friendly games in Dubai. We won four times, played twice in a draw and lost twice.

Now we will be training in Turkey until February 28. We have four friendly games planned here. On 19 February against the Ukrainian Premier League club "Shakhtar" from Donetsk, on 22 February against the Kazakhstan Premier League club "Kairat", on 27 February against the Ukrainian Second League club "Polissya" and on 28 February against the Norwegian Highest league club "Sandefjord".

"Shakhtar Donetsk" is a club founded in 1936. In Ukraine's strongest championship, "Shakhtar" has won 13 times, won the Ukrainian Cup trophy 13 times and won the Ukrainian Super Cup nine times.

"Shakhtar" is a regular participant in the UEFA Champions League group tournament. "Shakhtar" ranks 16th among European clubs. This season in the Champions League, "Shakhtar" played against "Real Madrid", "Inter Milan" and "Sheriff Tiraspol".

There is currently a break in the Ukrainian Premier League. In the first part of the season, "Shakhtar" has 15 victories in 18 games and takes first place with 47 points. In second place with 45 points is "Dynamo Kyiv".
