One more week in Dubai, then to Turkey

We will continue training for one more week in the United Arab Emirates, but then we will go to Turkey, where "Riga Football Club" will have the final part of the preparatory phase. We will have seven friendly games during this time.

We have been training in Dubai since January 10. During this time we have played five friendly matches - 0:2 against Warsaw "Legia" (Poland), 2:1 against "Slovan Bratislava" (Slovakia), 2:1 against "Žilina" (Slovakia), 1:1 against "Johor" (Malaysia) and 0:0 against "Spartak Moscow" (Russia).

"Riga" will train in Dubai until February 17. We have three more friendly games ahead of us. We will have two games on February 13. At 11:00 (9:00 Latvia) we will play against "Gulf United" (UAE 3rd League), but at 17:00 (15:00 Latvia) we will play against the Russian club "Rodina". The Moscow team is one of the strongest teams in the 3rd league. In the last game in Dubai on February 16, we will play against the Russian Premier League club "Ural".

The team will then fly to Turkey. We plan to train there for 11 days. We will play four friendly games during this time. On 19 February against the Ukrainian Premier League club "Shakhtar" from Donetsk, on 22 February against the Kazakhstan Premier League club "Kairat", on 27 February against the Ukrainian Second League club "Polissya" and on 28 February against the Norwegian Highest league club "Sandefjord".
