The first Latvian championship game on March 12 in Mežaparks

We will start the new season of the Latvian Highest league on March 12 in Mežaparks. Our opponent in the first game will be "Valmiera". The kick-off is scheduled for 14:00.

"Valmiera" took the second place in the Latvian championship last season. The team won 19 games and scored 62 points in 28 games. "Riga" earned only 50 points in 28 games last season and ranked fourth.

We did not achieve the best results against "Valmiera" in 2021 either. In the first game we lost with 1: 2, in the second match we won with 1:0, but the third and fourth game ended with a draw (1:1, 0:0).

In the second game on March 19, we will play an away against "Liepāja". This game is scheduled for 15:00. Two wins (2:0, 4:1) and two losses (0:1, 0:1) against "Liepāja" last season.
