Filippov on loan joins "Riga Football Club"

Oleksandr Filippov was born on October 23, 1992 in the Donetsk region. Oleksandr plays in the position of the centre-forward. Oleksandr started his career as a professional footballer in Kiev's "Arsenal".

From 2015 to 2018, Oleksandr played in the First League of Ukraine. In 75 games for "Kramatorsk" and "Desna", Filippov scored 28 goals. For the next two seasons, Oleksandr played in Ukraine's strongest league.

In the season 2019/2020 Filippov scored 16 goals in 30 games in the highest league of Ukraine. In September 2020, a transfer took place and Filippov signed a contract with the Belgian Highest league club "St.Truiden". In this team, Filipov scored one goal in 15 games.
