Ilja Korotkovs joins "Riga Football Club"

We are pleased to announce that we have signed contract with the talented Latvian centre-back Ilja Korotkovs! The 21-year-old previously represented the football club "Metta"! Welcome!

Ilja Korotkovs was born on May 25, 2000 in Riga, the capital of Latvia. Ilja plays in the positions of centre-back and defensive midfielder. Korotkovs is a  "Metta" football school grown player.

Ilja started his career as a professional footballer in this club. In the last three seasons, Korotkovs has played 37 games in the Latvian Highest league, scored four goals and made one assist.

Korotkovs has represented the Latvian national teams U18, U19 and U21. Korotkov has one goal in the U21 national team. Welcome, Ilya!
