Game against "Tre Fiori" from Sanmarino in second qualifying round of Europa league

Tomorrow at Skonto Stadium the Latvian champion "Riga" will play the UEFA Europa league second qualifying round game against San Marino's strongest team "Tre Fiori". The match starts at 20:00! You will be able to watch the game live on the Sportacentrs.com TV channel.

"Riga" started the European tournament season in the UEFA Champions League qualification, where in the 1st round with a result of 0:2 lost to the Israeli champion "Maccabi Tel Aviv". San Marino champion "Tre Fiori" was knocked out in the 1st round of this tournament, losing 0:2 to the Northern Ireland team "Linfield".

The San Marino championship could not be played out last season, but after the last games, "Tre Fiori" was in the first place, being declared the winner of the championship. "Tre Fiori" did very well in the second part of the season, when the teams were already divided into two groups. In the second stage, "Tre Fiori" won six games in eight games and twice played draw. 

"Tre Fiori" was the best scoring team in the San Marino championship last season - 38 goals in 15 games.  "Tre Fiori" squad mostly is made up of San Marino and Italian footballers, but there is also a foreign players from Guinea, Macedonia and Cuba. "Tre Fiori" had a pre-match training at Skonto Stadium tonight.

"Riga" has been training in Mežaparks for the last weeks, but tonight also held the official pre-game training at Skonto Stadium. Before the game, both coach Mihail Konev and captain Stefan Panic noted that we are the favorites of this game, but the opponent must be respected and we have to show our best game on the field to win.
