One more victory in Dubai

Tonight in Dubai "Riga Football Club" got the second victory during the training camp. With the result 2:1 we defeated the Slovak club "Žilina". The goals were scored by Gabriel Ramos and Ilya Korotkov. Tomorrow we will play against "Johor" from Malaysia.

"Riga" had played two friendly matches at the Riga training camp in Dubai. In the first game we lost 0:2 to the Polish Ekstraklasa champion "Legia", but in the second game we defeated "Slovan Bratislava" with the scoreline of 2:1. The goals were scored by Karim Loukili and Arturs Krancmanis.

We scored the first goal in the fourth minute. After a great pass from Vladlen Yurchenko Gabriel Ramos opened the score - 1:0. Arturs Krancmanis had one really good chance to score. The midfielder shot over the crossbar from very good position. "Žilina" did not create any very dangerous moments in the first half. In general, after the first half of the game we deserved to be in the lead with, but we had chances to score more goals.

As in previous games, the coach changed lineup during the break. In the 48th minute, Lukas Janosik scored (1:1) after our own mistake in the middle of the field. During second half Joselpho Barnes, Karim Loukili and Milos Vranjanin did not take very good opportunities. After Vranjanin's header ball hit the post.
