"Riga" signs Ukrainian midfielder Vladlen Yurchenko

We are pleased to announce that the club has signed a contract with a 28-year-old Ukrainian midfielder Vladlen Jurchenko. Vladlen previously played in the German Bundesliga, the Danish Superliga and the Ukrainian Premier League. Welcome!

Vladlen Yurchenko was born on January 22, 1994 in Mykolaiv, Ukraine. Vladlen plays as a attacking midfielder. The Ukrainian midfielder is a "Torpedo Mykolaiv" and "Shakhtar Donetsk" grown player. 

In 2014, the talented midfielder signed a contract with the German Bundesliga club "Bayer" from Leverkusen. Vladlen was in this team for three seasons. Yurchenko played 18 games for "Bayer", scoring three goals and making one assist. During this time, Yurchenko also played three games in the Champions League group stage. In 2017, Vladlen scored a fantastic goal against "Monaco".

In 2018/2019, Yurchenko played in the Danish Superliga club "Velje". In this team, Yurchenko scored three goals and made four assists in 19 games. For the next two seasons, Yurchenko played for "Zorya" in Ukraine. In "Zorya" Yurchenko played 68 games, scored 16 goals and made 13 assists. Yurchenko also won the Ukrainian bronze medal with this team.

Yurchenko's last stop was another Ukrainian team "Desna", where Vladlens spent the first half of the season. One goal and two assists in seven games. Vladlen has played 23 games and scored three goals in the Ukrainian U21 national team, and Yurchenko has also played in the U19, U17 and U16 national teams.
