"Riga" extends contract with Rugins

We have extended the contract with defender Ritvars Rugins! The 32-year-old player will play his fourth season for "Riga Football Club"!

Ritvars Rugins became a "Riga" player before the start of the 2019 season! Together with the team, Rugins has twice become the champion of Latvia and has twice reached "play-off" round of Eurocup qualifiers.

Rugins is a candidate to play 100 games for "Riga"! In total, Rugins has played 74 games for "Riga", scored one goal and made three assists.

During his career, Rugins has played for "Ventspils", "Skonto" and the Ukrainian club "Mariupol". With "Ventspils" Rugins twice became the Latvian champion and once won the Latvian Cup trophy. Rugins has 39 games for Latvian national team.
