"Riga" signs Latvian national team defender Jurkovskis

"Riga Football Club" has signed contract with 25-year-old Latvian national team defender Raivis Jurkovskis! Raivis spent the previous season in the Irish Highest league! Welcome, Raivis!

Raivis was born on December 9, 1996 in Liepaja. Raivis is Liepāja football grown player. In Liepāja, the defender also started his career as a professional footballer.

In 2015, Raivis became the champion of Latvia. Jurkovskis played 14 games for "Liepāja". In 2016, Jurkovskis played for RFS. Raivis spent the next four seasons in Liepaja, and in 2017 and 2020 he won the Latvian Cup trophy.
