"Riga" extends contract with Kurakins

We have extended the contract with defender Antons Kurakins! The 31-year-old player will play his sixth season for "Riga Football Club"!

Kurakins became the "Riga" player before the 2017 season. Together with the team, Kurakins has become the Latvian champion three times, once won the Latvian Cup trophy and twice reached "play-off" round of Eurocup qualifiers.

In total, Kurakins has played 102 games for "Riga", scored two goals and made 12 assists. Kurakins can play in left and center defender positions.

During his career, Kurakins has played for Blāzma, Ventspils and Scottish clubs. There are eight games for Kurakin in the Latvian national team.
