Petersons stays in the team

The legend stays! Riga Football Club has signed a new contract with defender Armands Petersons! The 30-year-old footballer will be in the club for the seventh season!

Armands became the "Riga" footballer before the 2016 season. Together with the club Armands has become the Latvian champion three times and once won the Latvian Cup trophy.

Petersons has played the most games for "Riga". Armands has played a total of 145 games for our club, scored seven goals and made 11 assists.

In total, in the Latvian Highest league, Armands has played 263 games in his career, scored 22 goals and made 15 assists. Armands has also played two games for the Latvian national team.
