Thank You, Laza!

"Riga Football Club" will not extend contract with 34-year-old midfielder Olegs Laizāns! Laizāns for our club played six seasons! Laza is a big part of our club's history! Thanks for everything, Maestro!

Olegs Laizans became a "Riga" player in 2016. In total, during six seasons, Laizāns played 117 games for "Riga", scored ten goals and made eight assists.

Together with the club Laizāns three times became the Latvian champion and in 2018 won the Latvian Cup trophy. In total, Laizāns has played 207 games in the Latvian highest league, scored 23 goals and made 12 assists.

Laizāns spent the second part of the 2021 season as a player of "Auda" and became the champion of the Latvian 1st league. During his career, Laizāns has played 54 games for the Latvian national team.
