In Cyprus game against Spanish team

Tomorrow Riga Football Club will play its first match in the "Korantina Homes Cup" Cyprus. At 14:00 we will play against the Spanish players' association team.

We arrived in Cyprus yesterday and today we had our first training. Six teams from Cyprus, England, Spain, Latvia and Russia are participating in the tournament. "Riga" will play in Group A against the Spanish AFE team and the Cypriot team Limassol "Aris". In Group B will play the Cypriot team "Paphos", "Brentford" from England and "Rodina" from Russia.

The first game in Group A took place yesterday. The Spanish players' association team defeated the Cypriot club Limassol "Aris" 2:1. In group B first game was played today. "Paphos" beat Brentford with the scoreline of 5:1.

Tomorrow the game against the Spaniards will start at 14:00. The strongest teams of both groups will play in the final of the tournament on November 19.
