Riga signs 19-year-old midfielder Barnes

"Riga Football Club" has officially signed a contract with 19-year-old German-born Ghanaian midfielder Joselpho Barnes! Welcome!

Joselpho Barnes was born on 12 December 2001 in Oberhausen, Germany. Barnes is a citizen of both Germany and Ghana.

In his youth, Barnes played in various German clubs, but in 2016 he became a football player of the well-known German Bundesliga club "Schalke 04" academy.

In the first half of 2021, Barnes played 11 games in the second team of "Schalke 04". Barnes made two assists. Barnes has also represented Ghana's U20 and U23 teams. This year, Barnes won the Africa Cup of Nations U20.
