Draw against "Valmiera" in the game of the last season

Tonight at the Skonto Stadium in the last game of the Latvian Highest league 2021 season, "Riga Football Club" played a draw 0:0 against "Valmiera"! We end the season in fourth place.

We had earned four of the maximum nine points against "Valmiera" this season. On April 30, we lost 1:2 in an away match, on June 21 we won 1:0 at Skonto Stadium, but on October 27, the game in Valmiera ended with a draw (1:1).

In the first half of the match, we played more with the ball, but in the final part of the attack there was no dangerous moments. After the first half of the game, a draw of 0:0. In the second half, both teams played fast and interesting football. Both us and Valmiera had chances, but the goals were not scored in this game. Draw 0:0.

This was the last game of the season. We finish the season in fourth place. The RFS team become the champions this year, "Valmiera" take the second place, but bronze medals goes to "Liepāja".
