Seven "Riga Football Club" players will take part in the World Cup qualifiers in October.

Five players have been included in the Latvian national team includes - goalkeeper Roberts Ozols, defenders Antonijs Černomordijs and Vladislavs Fjodorovs, midfielders Vladimirs Kamešs and Aleksejs Saveļjevs.

In October, the Latvian national team will have two difficult games in Riga, Daugava Stadium, against the Netherlands (08.10.) and Turkey (11.10.). Turkey has 11 points and third place in the group.

"Riga" midfielder Raivis Ķiršs and goalkeeper Frank Dāvids Orols, who on loan players for "Daugavpils" this season, today will play for Latvian U21 national team in the European qualifiers against San Marino at Skonto stadium. The match starts at 14:00. On October 12, the U21 national team will play away match against Israel.
