Riga derby at Skonto Stadium!

Riga SUPER derby! Tomorrow, at Skonto Stadium, in the 17th round of the Latvian Highest league game, "Riga" FC will meet with RFS. The match starts at 19:00! Tickets are available at "Biļešu Serviss" ticket offices! The game will be shown live on Sportacentrs.com TV!

"Riga" played the last game on Wednesday, when we won "Metta" in Daugava stadium with 3:0. RFS last game was in the UEFA European League in the Serbian capital city Belgrade. RFS lost 0:1 to the famous Serbian club "Partizan". The Serbs scored the only goal from the 11-meter mark.

"Riga" and RFS have met once this season in the vice-champion field. Felipe Brisola and Tomislav Saric (own goal) scored for "Riga". RFS only scored at the end of the game (2:1). "Riga" won the second championship title in a row last season, but RFS took the second place.

This will be the last game before the break of almost two weeks in the Latvian championship. Vjaceslavs Isajevs will not be able to participate in due to disqualification. It should be mentioned that the list of candidates for the Latvian national team includes five "Riga" footballers: Roberts Ozols, Antonijs Cernomordijs, Ritvars Rugins, Vladislavs Fjodorovs and Elvis Stuglis. They will all have to go to the national team after tomorrow night's game.

In the previous game, "Riga" extended its victory record in the Latvian Highest league to 14 games. "Riga" with 45 points in 16 games takes the first place in the tournament table. RFS with 40 points is in second place. Other teams are already more than 15 points behind.
