"Riga" enters the 4th round of the Conference League with a strong team character

On Thursday, in the exciting UEFA Europa Conference league 3rd qualifying round game, "Riga Football Club" won the place in the next round. In the 120 minute game we won the Hibernians 4:1. Yunusa Muritala scored two goals, but Jean Leo and Ivan Paurevic scored once.

"Riga" were attacking in the first minutes of the game, and in the 2nd minute we got a chance to take an 11-meter penalty. Unfortunately, after Ivan Paurevic's shot the Maltese club was saved by the goalkeeper. In the first half, the Malta club also had some good opportunities, but "Riga" goalkeeper Ivan Brkič was great. "Riga" played more with the ball during the rest of the first half, but was unable to use their opportunities. Draw after the first half of the game - 0:0.

"Riga" actively started the second half of the game, and in the 50th minute Jean Leo scored - 1:0. "Hibernians" played better after the goal scored by "Riga", and in the 60th minute Degabriel scored with a great shot - 1:1! The Maltese club used every opportunity to delay the rest of the time, but "Riga" did not make good chances. Two minutes before the end of the game, after the cross of Glody Ngonda, Ivan Paurevic scored (2:1) which meant that extra time would have to be played.

Two Hibernians had been sent off before overtime. "Riga" were attacking, and in the 105th minute Yunusa Muritala scored - 3:1 "Riga" continued to dominate the field, and in the 115th minute Muritala deservedly scored another goal - "Riga" victory with 4:1 and place in the 4th round of the Conference League.
